» The 4-Star PREMIUM Airlines
The 4-Star Airline classification is a seal of PREMIUM Quality Approval
awarded to airlines that deliver an upscale overall Quality performance.
It recognises very good standards of Airport and Onboard Product together with consistent and excellent upscale standards of Staff Service delivery across the Airport and different travel Cabin service environments. back to top
» The 3-Star COMFORT Airlines
The 3-Star Airline classification is awarded to airlines delivering a fair
Quality and Comfort performance of product and service standards.
This Rating signifies a very satisfying product quality accross different travel cabins. back to top
» The 2-Star TOURIST Airlines
The 2-Star Airline classification is awarded to airlines delivering a fair Quality performance equating to an industry “average” of acceptable product and service standards. This 2-Star classification signifies a satisfactory Product quality across different travel cabins. It is performing below 3-Star requirements due to inconsistency amongst either product and/or front-line Staff Service for the Onboard and home-base Airport environments. back to top
» The 1-Star LOW-COST Airlines
The 1-Star Airline classification includes airlines that are delivering a lower or poor total Quality performance, in some instances below the industry average across many rating categories. A 1-Star Airline classification signifies an inconsistent or lower Quality of Product and/or front-line Staff Service for the Onboard and home-base Airport environments. back to top
» NOT Recomended Airlines
The classification "not recommended" is given only to airlines,
which have been noticed either because of repeated serious infringements against
internationally valid safety and/or maintenance requirements, or for which
reason the landing and/or overflow permit has been withdrawn.
It is also given to Airlines that does not meet the minimum safety
requirements of AviRate (minimum 21 out of 55 possible points).
